I am a 5th Grader and the reason I am doing this blog is because I would really like to help students gain more knowledge and become smarter using resources that are already available. All you need is a computer or a tablet.

Here are some of the resources that I have found to be helpful:
Atlanta Fulton Public Library Afpls.org
You need an Atlanta Fulton Public Library Card to access the following:

  • BookFlix - has animated eBooks that are also AR ( Accelerated Reading) books
  • Tutor.com - this website gives you a free tutor to give you live online help with your homework
Galileo is a resource for all Georgians!  The web address is Galileo.usg.edu/kids/atlanta-k12
The new password for Atlanta students is "beltway" .

  • Britannica Online - This is an online Encyclopedia. You can look up anything. You can save items without a flash drive by providing your email address in the workspace. You can import videos into your projects, and play learning games to strengthen your Math and Language Arts skills.
