I am a 5th Grader and the reason I am doing this blog is because I would really like to help students gain more knowledge and become smarter using resources that are already available. All you need is a computer or a tablet.
Here are some of the resources that I have found to be helpful:
Atlanta Fulton Public Library Afpls.org
You need an Atlanta Fulton Public Library Card to access the following:
- BookFlix - has animated eBooks that are also AR ( Accelerated Reading) books
- Tutor.com - this website gives you a free tutor to give you live online help with your homework
Galileo is a resource for all Georgians! The web address is Galileo.usg.edu/kids/atlanta-k12
The new password for Atlanta students is "beltway" .
- Britannica Online - This is an online Encyclopedia. You can look up anything. You can save items without a flash drive by providing your email address in the workspace. You can import videos into your projects, and play learning games to strengthen your Math and Language Arts skills.
This is a great blog! I can't wait to use it with my class! Great job
